Internet Assistance and Tutorials
For those who wish to increase their computer knowledge, we offer computer tutorials. During the summer months, if grants are available, the library employs local youth to work at the library. One of his/her duties is to assist patrons with aspects of computer technology, in particular, the Internet. For the rest of the year, there are other part time students working at the library that may do computer tutorials upon request. Throughout the year these students are available on Fridays and Saturdays if you wish to organize a computer tutorial with them.
To do this, you should phone the library at 756-2000 to schedule a one-on-one appointment. Each session, with or without training, is limited to 25 minutes. The tutorials are usually free in the summer, however, for the remainder of the year have a charge of $5.00 per session.
If you wish to fill out a tutorial form ahead of time, you may do it by printing out the form located Here, filling it out and bringing it to the library.
