If you wish to sign up for a Internet Tutorial Session you may do so by printing out the correct form below and bringing it to the library. Note the different forms for Year Round Tutorials and Summer Tutorials respectively.

YEAR ROUND TUTORIAL FORM

Adult and Young Adult Internet Tutorial Form Patrons (adults and young adults) can apply to access and Internet Tutorial Session. These sessions will be held upon request (see staff) and availability of time slots which are regularly 4-530 Fridays and 11:30 to 1:30 Saturdays. (Note: These slots may change during the summer). During your time slot, on the Internet, you will work with a student/Internet Tutor, who will help you to become better acquainted with the Internet. Time permitting, you will learn the procedure of dialing up on the net, general features of the Internet, how to use search engines and Universal Resource Locators to locate websites, open a public e-mail account as well as being shown some interesting recommended websites. This service is $5.00 per 25 minutes session. After this tutorial, you may access the Internet at other times by requesting a time slot ($1.00 per session ). If you are unable to attend your booked session please call the library beforehand at 756-2000.

Internet Tutorial Application Form

Patrons (adults and young adults) can apply to access the Internet Tutorial Session. This will be held in July and August between times available for you. During your time slot, on the Internet, you will work with a student/Internet tutor, helping you become better aquainted with the Internet. You will learn the procedure of using the net, how to use search engines to locate websites and will be shown some interesting recommneded websites. This service is free for this summer only. A person can only participate once or twice in the tutorial over the summer to allow others a fair chance. You may access the Internet at other times by requesting a time slot.
